Is parking accessible?

Ipswich Hospital P1 and P2 carpark

Accessible parking is on red level in both the P1 and P2 carparks

Level 2 – adjacent to the lift wells
Level 3 – adjacent to the lift wells

Disability Parking Permits do not permit FREE or discounted parking within the Ipswich Hospital and Ipswich Health Plaza sites. Permits enable parking in accessible parking spots.

What if I need help with my parking at the pay station or exit?

The pay stations and exit pay machines have ‘HELP’ buttons which ring through to assistance. To call for assistance please press ‘HELP’ button and wait up to 12 rings for the operator.

Account holder parking is $5 a day (only when you use it) when you have an active account with credit

Is there a shuttle bus service?

West Moreton Health provides a shuttle bus, available to patients, visitors and staff. It services Ipswich, completing a circuit from the Limestone Park car park each weekday, starting at 6:00 am.

Can I park my motorcycle at Ipswich Hospital Car Park?

The designated area is located to the right after the boom gate.
Please take a ticket on entry. This ticket can then be validated to the reduced parking cost of $5.00 per day by visiting the IHF office at P2 – Red Level on the day of parking during office hours (9:00 am to 4.00 pm) Monday to Friday.

Motorcycles are strictly prohibited from driving on the pedestrian path leading to the car park at P1.

Ipswich Hospital Car Park P2
FREE motorcycle parking is available at the Hospital P2 car park in the designated Motorcycle site. This is located to the left of the boom gate and prior to the entry to the car park.

Can I park my motorcycle at Ipswich Health Plaza?

Motorcycle parking is prohibited at Ipswich Health Plaza.

What do I do if my car is damaged while parked in the carpark?

West Moreton Health operate and control the security cameras throughout the car park. IHF operates and can have access to cameras only at entry and exit points to the car park.

  1. Lodge a police report through the Property Damage or Vehicle Theft. Alternatively, you can visit a local Police Station to report the damage.  The closest is the Ipswich Police Station.

Account Parking FAQs

How do I sign up for a parking account?

  1. Click on ‘Account Sign Up’
  2. Follow the prompts starting at ‘Personal Details’.
  3. Your account must be active and have a credit balance before you enter the car park to qualify for account-rate parking

How much is parking?

Account holder parking is $5 a day (only when you use it) when you have an active account with credit

How do I qualify for the daily rate?

Anyone can create an account online and qualify for account-rate parking. You must have an active account with sufficient balance ($5 or greater) before you enter the car park to qualify.

Who can set up a parking account?

Anyone can register for an IHF parking account. However, account holders must use a credit card, VISA or Mastercard debit card when opening an account.

How do I update payment details?

  1. Log into your account
  2. Tap “Modify Account” from the menu bar.
    If the only option on the menu bar is to change password, you will need to change passwords before you can view or make changes to your parking accounts.
  3. Review personal details, vehicle details, and payment details
  4. Ensure you tap “Update” on the 4th, “Complete Modify Details” page
  5. It can take up to 30 minutes to sync with the car park system prior to entry

How do I change my License Plate Numbers or add a new License Plate Number to my account?

  1. Log into your account and click on ‘Manage details’.
  2. Remove your old number plate to add a new one.
  3. Continue through to the final confirmation page, after credit card details, in order for any changes to save.

*Maximum of 3 License Plate Numbers per account

I have set up a parking account, but the gate won't open?

You will need to log onto your parking account and check that all your details in the system are correct, that you have put your number plate into the parking account accurately and you have checked there is sufficient funds on the account.

If you believe your account is all up to date please press the help button on entry and our staff will assist you.

If you cannot find any issue please fill out a Contact Us form and someone will get in touch with you within 2 working days.

What do I do when my credit card expires?

You will need to log into your parking account and add your new credit card details. Even though it is the date that expires, all credit card details will need updating.

How do I generate a statement for my parking account?

  1. Log onto your parking account,
  2. Click Statement,
  3. Select your filters
  4. Generate.
  5. The statement will open as a CSV file.

Does the daily rate apply if I leave and return in the one day?

Yes. Parkers can enter and exit multiple times in a 24-hour period for the reduced daily account rate.

What if I need to park at both Ipswich Hospital and Ipswich Health Plaza in one day?

The daily rate is charged only once if you need to move between parking sites in one day.

Casual Parking FAQs

How do I pay for my parking?

At completion of parking, insert your ticket into the pay machine at Red Level of the Ipswich Hospital Carpark or Level 1 of the Ipswich Health Plaza and pay the amount displayed using cash or card.

Alternatively you can pay with credit or debit card ONLY at the exit of the carpark.

Do I need a ticket or receipt?

Yes, you will need to take a ticket upon entry. Your ticket is your key to enter and exit the car park.

How much is parking?

Casual parkers are required to take a ticket to enter.

What if I can't find a park?

Visitors are allowed 15 minutes to look for a park and in the case that you don’t find a car park, proceed to the exit and exit the car park for no charge.

What if I lose my ticket?

Lost tickets will incur a $21 charge. To exit the car park you will be required to use the ‘Lost Ticket Button’ at the pay stations or exit gates.
